Losar = Tibetan New Year. Buddhist society has a join event with Tibetan Society in this week to rise funding for charity. We made a lot of foods (actually BS just made 1 food) :p which is unde-unde, I don't know how to call it. And Tibetan Society did try to make Tibetan foods like 'mo-mo', noodles and 'sweet carrot'. This was my first time to try Tibetan food. The 'old' man (I don't know how old he is?) in the photo with me is a Tibetan singer and others of the people is the team members. Haha.....I have celebrated the Tibetan new year and the next will be the Chinese New Year. Properly, I think all of my Malaysia's friends are already busy for the CNY preparation, buying new cloths, new shoes la and new new new la......Wish all of you Happy Chinese New Year in advance and have a safe trip to balik kampung!
还没庆祝华人新年，先来庆祝西藏新年热一热身。我们佛学会今年与西藏学会联手合作搞了个慈善食物义卖会，非常特别！我们还特地做了一系列有关西藏佛教的展览和宣传学会的海报；虽然是小小型，但前来观看的老外也不少，我甚至被一个象哲学‘高人’的鬼佬问到我团团转。其实，许多老外对佛学很有兴趣，可惜是这里环境难以学习佛法；最近佛学会也来了不少的老外，他们都跟我们一起做晚课，打坐和讨论佛学，可是苦了我要苦练用英文来‘讲佛学’。但无论如何，我都希望尽我们所能在这西方（极乐）世界里弘扬佛法。这短短的几小时过的也蛮过瘾，至少过过搞活动的瘾。呵，农历新年也要到了，大家准备好了吗？衣服，鞋子买了吗？新年的聚会安排了吗？新年糕点弄好了吗？家里装饰好了吗？哈哈。。。对不起，我问酱多问题只是想过过新年前的瘾而已，因为我这里没有这些东西玩嘛！在这里先祝大家新年快乐，平平安安回家过新年。
